He is wearing sunglasses, a t-shirt, shorts, and socks, although his feet are out of frame. Papers and a book are on the blanket near him, presumably with music. Behind him on the lawn is a guitar case, a carrying bag, and some other identifiable items, possibly a jacket or other clothing or a backpack. The scene is mostly sunny, although there is some shade from a tree which is not in the picture. To his right is the end of a guitar and a hand, presumably belonging to another guitarist.

An empty wooden stool is in front of him and to his right. A second guitar resting on a guitar stand is behind him and to his left. In front of him is a box with a number of cables attached and a monitor speaker. A bunch of cables on the stage in front of Doctor Rubato are presumably connecting all the components of the sound system.
